Gods River Lodge Outposts
OUTPOSTS
Our experienced guides take you on the “wilderness pursuit” experience of a lifetime as you travel along God’s River to our two River Outposts. Your part of this journey will take you safely through various rapids to explore and fish parts of this beautiful Canadian North that few people have every seen.
The splendor and rugged beauty of God’s River will thrill you, as you experience a part of the world that largely remains unchanged for thousands of years.
Allen Rapids: For a more contemporary experience in a beautiful setting, visit our frame cabin, 20 miles downriver from the Lodge. The frame cabin offers a rustic experience with your comfort in mind. Again the trip of a lifetime to enjoy the beauty of the Canadian North.
Note: Weather conditions, lightning, etc., wildlife especially bears are obstacles to outposts in the far north. Unfortunately Allen Rapids is currently not available for overnight stays. We are planning, however, to have Allen renovated and suitable in the future for overnight stays. We will advise you of the progress as it happens.
DAY TRIPS: In the meantime, take a day trip anyway, it is well worth the time to experience the beauty of this great mighty River.
AND FISH ALONG THE WAY FOR OUR GREAT BROOKIES!!!!!!
KENDALL & JEFF
Their main focus was on Brook Trout and Kendall estimated that they caught and released 70+ during their stay at the Lodge. Went downriver to 40-mile one day and caught 26.
SEMMONS LAKE
Take a day away from the Lake or River and fly out to one of the Greatest Northern Pike Lakes anywhere, where hundreds of trophies are caught and released.
A Testimonial about Semmens Lake from Bob Izumi
Host of Bob Izumi's Real Fishing Show
We chose Semmens Lake because it has more big pike per acre than anywhere I’ve fished. The best time of year to go is in the spring and to fish in or near spwaning bays.
JUST A COUPLE OF EXAMPLES OF FISH TAKEN AND RELEASED IN SEMMONS
A TRIP THAT WILL LONG BE REMEMBERED!
Note: Again over the many years of harsh winters and wildlife this Outpost is not currently suitable for overnight stays. We, however, will be constructing a new camp building where guests will have an option to stay overnight and even possibly a destination as a Housekeeping option for your entire trip. Again we will keep you posted.
