Arguably, God's River is the best brook trout fishery on the planet! Northerns and walleyes also inhabit the river and their girth tends to eclipse that of their lake-dwelling brethren. Often, they can be found around the edges of pools."

"My son Jackson and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip. We caught so many Walleye it was astounding. Catching masters is a matter of when not if. Great fighting lakers, master pike but the highlight for me was a master trout shown in the picture. Hard to imagine a more beautiful fish and another dream off the bucket list. The meals and staff top off the experience. One word WOW!"

"My son Joe and I visited God's River Lodge for the first time in 2016. The lodging, food, hospitality were first class and the fishing was awesome. Despite really bad weather every day our guide put us on the
fish and made sure we had a good time. We'll be back for sure."

"In reflection and as I go through all my pictures of our fantastic trip to God’s River I realize just what an amazing place it is! The whole experience was magical and so different for guys like us. Our cabin at the Lodge was great, being very comfortable and with all the necessary facilities - lots of living space, good comfortable beds, nice hot showers and good bathrooms. The food was nice and wholesome (and plentiful)! Our shoreline lunches were fantastic!
Our fishing adventures were incredible with great guides and good boats."

"That was my biggest brookie, about 24 inches. (Junior was guide, great kid.) Most were between 21 and 22. Fight like hell. Lost a bunch, mainly at boat. Very good fishing, depending on day."
"Our group of 4 spent 4 days in early July 2019 fishing the God’s River for Brook Trout. 2 of the 4 used fly rods. Many fish in the 22 to 24 inch class were caught and released. The fish were such strong fighters I should have used a little heavier gear. I made it work and I’ve never in my life seen Brook Trout so big. The First Nation guides were fantastic. They knew where to go and their expertise on the River was spot on. The accommodations were very comfortable and the meals at the main lodge were served in a timely manner and quite good many. In summary. I would return and probably will. Great fishing. Great accommodations. Great staff."

"Excellent meals and food service - hearty and filling. We were on fish within minutes of leaving our docks.
Our guides worked hard to get us on fish and keep us on fish. The riverside lunch is a BONUS! We caught fish is no matter what the weather. Without doubt, some of the best brook trout fishing in the world. The lodge accommodates both conventional and fly-fishing clients exceptionally well."
